“Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let they heart cheer in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment” (Ecclesiastes 11:9)

High School Mission @Downtown Toronto – December 08, 2012

High School Youth gathered in the Church on Friday, Dec 7, 2012 evening to prepare packages of sandwiches, fruits, snacks and Bible verses in a brown bag to be distributed on Saturday morning, Dec 8, 2012 in downtown Toronto for a sandwich run. They had the blessing of distributing some sandwiches at two shelters as well: St. John the Compassionate and the Good Shepherd. It was such a true joy to enjoy the spirit of Christmas season and enjoy the experience of giving according to the bible words “It is more blessed to give than to receive”. Acts 20:35.

They felt seeing Christ during that blessed time according to His words “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me….The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:34-40.
