St. John the Beloved’s Vesper Prayers – January 11-12, 2013

Our beloved Church prayed and celebrated St. John the Beloved’s feast – Our Saint’s Church Patron.

We prayed the Vesper prayers, followed by St. John the Beloved’s glorification, zaffa, sermon and aghapy. Fr. Youhanna Ramzy led us in the Vesper Prayers and offered us words of benefit.

We ask the Lord through the prayers and blessings of St. John the Beloved our patron to bless our Church, our Congregation, our Community and all our Church’s ministries.

Christmas Eve and Divine Liturgy (Nativity Feast) – January 06/07, 2013

Our beloved Church celebrated the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Incarnate God in the Flesh from the virgin St. Mary. Jeremiah the prophet said, “Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I will raise to David a Branch of Righteousness; a King shall reign and prosper, and execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.

In this blessed feast, our beloved Church prayed the Christmas Divine Liturgy, followed by Aghapy at St. John’s Building.

All the families united together with love, having Aghapy and congratulated each other for the Nativity Feast.

We ask the Lord to fill our lives and hearts with joy and peace; and grant us many returns of this feast, filled with the blessings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Who came for our salvation.
