"Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the fish’s belly. 2 And he said:
“I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction; And He answered me." Jonah 2:1&2
We ask You, O merciful One, to do with us, we the sinners, as You did with the people of Nineveh, have mercy on us according to Your great mercy. For You are a compassionate and an all merciful God, and You are kind, patient, and the good Philanthropic One.
